Austin's Flower Shop, Delivered

The Flower Shop That Comes to Austin

Austin is home for Alegria. We're a small, family-owned flower subscription from the Austin area, and we skipped the storefront on purpose. Instead of asking you to find parking and pick something out, we bring a seasonal bouquet to your door on a Saturday morning. Mom designs every one and delivers it herself.

Each delivery is a wrapped bouquet of 22 to 28 stems, carefully pre-arranged with whatever's in season and ready to go straight into a vase. Our flowers make it from the farm to your doorstep within 5 days, so they open up at your place, not in a cooler.

How it works in Austin

Pick one bouquet a month or one twice a month. We deliver on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 7 to 10 am, and you choose your Saturday at signup. The flowers are left at your door in biodegradable packaging, and we text you the minute they arrive, so you don't need to be home.

Delivery is always free. If you'll be away, give us 3 days' notice and we'll skip that month without charging you.

There's no same-day or on-demand option. Alegria is scheduled delivery only, which is exactly what makes it easy to keep fresh flowers in the house.

Our plans

A Saturday-morning city

Our route runs on Saturdays, and Austin is good at Saturdays. The SFC Farmers' Market Downtown opens at 9 in Republic Square. Runners and paddlers are out early on Lady Bird Lake. Families spread out on the lawn at Zilker Park, and swimmers line up for Barton Springs Pool. With a 7–10 am delivery window, your bouquet can be on the doorstep before you head out, or waiting when you get back.

Austin was incorporated in 1839, and since the late 1800s it has gone by "the City of the Violet Crown," a nod to the glow over the hills just after sunset. It's grown to almost a million people (961,855 at the 2020 census), and from the Capitol to the neighborhoods out past Loop 360 and US 183 it's still a city of front porches. That's where we'd like to leave your flowers.

Meet the family behind Alegria

This is our family. Mom designs the bouquets and delivers them around Austin herself, and every so often we film a bit of the process. Here's a look.

Have a friend across town, a parent in another part of the city, or a coworker who just moved here? A 3-month gift subscription sends them fresh flowers three times. It also makes a nice thank-you for an Austin ISD teacher or a welcome for new neighbors. You pay once, and the card message you add at checkout arrives with the bouquet.
